Terms
The agreement between you and Plus Ones. You accept it when you finish setting up your profile.
Who can join
- You are 18 or older.
- You joined with an invite from someone already on Plus Ones.
- You have one account, and it is about you, not someone else.
- You have not been convicted of a sexual or violent offence, and are not barred by law from using a service like this.
- We have not removed you from Plus Ones before.
What Plus Ones does
Plus Ones introduces people through their circle: friends, and friends of friends. You can join to meet someone, or only to introduce friends. We decide who is shown to whom from the settings you choose and the people you are connected to. We do not promise any number of introductions, or that anyone will say yes.
We do not run background or identity checks on members. An invite means someone vouched for a person, not that we did.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure, because anyone who can use it can use Plus Ones as you. Keep your profile truthful and up to date.
What you share
Your photos, words, and messages stay yours. You let us store them, and show them to the people our settings allow, only to run Plus Ones. That permission ends when you delete them or your account, except for copies other members already received, such as messages you sent them.
Only post photos of yourself that you have the right to share, and nothing that identifies someone else without their permission.
Rules for everyone
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or demean anyone, on Plus Ones or because of it.
- Pretend to be someone else, or make an account for someone else.
- Post nudity, sexual content, hate, or anything illegal.
- Ask anyone for money, or sell or advertise anything.
- Share another member's profile, photos, or messages outside Plus Ones.
- Copy, scrape, or automate access to Plus Ones, or get around its limits.
- Invite someone you do not know, or who is under 18.
Meeting in person
You are responsible for how you deal with other members. Meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you are going, and leave if you feel unsafe. If someone makes you uncomfortable, hide them or end the connection. If you are in danger, contact the local emergency services first.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the You tab. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms or puts other members at risk, and we may keep what we need to deal with that.
Our responsibility
Plus Ones is free and is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for what members say or do, on or off Plus Ones. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you that cannot be removed by agreement.
Changes
If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to agree again before you keep using Plus Ones. How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy.
